We've been busy making the Explore community feed richer and more interactive. Here's what's new for you this update.
Explore is no longer just about images — videos created by the community now show up right alongside them in your feed. You'll also find a fresh "What others create" block on the home page that surfaces community creations to inspire your next project, and a dedicated video detail view so you can watch and explore individual clips in full. This means more variety every time you scroll, and more inspiration for what's possible on Charmloop.
You can now leave comments directly on images and videos in the Explore feed. Whether you want to react to a striking creation or start a conversation with the creator, there's now a full comment thread built right into the media detail page. It's a simple but meaningful step toward making Explore feel like a real community space rather than just a gallery.
Tapping into any piece of community media now opens a completely reworked, fullscreen detail experience. You can swipe or click through next and previous pieces, browse a thumbnail strip to jump around quickly, and enjoy smooth animated transitions as you switch between pieces. On top of that, if a creation was made with one of our pro generators, you can apply those same settings directly from the detail view to jumpstart your own creation. The whole experience now fills the screen properly on wide monitors too, so nothing feels cramped or small.
Searching by tags in Explore now ranks results by how relevant they are to your search, not just by how popular the tag is. This makes it much easier to find exactly the kind of content you're looking for instead of always seeing the same popular tags float to the top.
On desktop, the sidebar can now be collapsed to give you more room to focus on your creations and browsing. It's a small change that makes a big difference if you like a cleaner, more spacious workspace.
Viewing mature-rated community content in Explore no longer requires a paid plan — the unnecessary restriction has been removed, and if content is still hidden, you'll now see the real reason why instead of a vague blocked tile. This makes browsing and understanding your content settings much more transparent.
The charm tip dialog and tip button have been redesigned with new bead icons, giving tipping creators a more polished and visually appealing feel.
The hero section for conversations has been reworked to be more personal — it now shows real sender avatars, a "you" indicator for the viewer, and subtle continuous wave animations, along with a clearer call-to-action icon for more info. It's a small visual touch that makes starting and continuing conversations feel warmer and more human.
On mobile, the old "News" tab in the bottom navigation has been replaced with "Explore," and visiting the Explore section now takes you straight to the community media feed — making it quicker and more intuitive to jump into browsing what the community is creating.
As always, thank you for being part of Charmloop. We're continuing to invest in making Explore and your creative tools more engaging, and we can't wait to see what you create next.
