Big week, friends! The headline feature is here: Charmloop is now on Telegram. You can set up your own AI companion bot right inside Telegram, and we've packed in a ton of extras to make it fun, personal, and smooth to use. Here's the rundown.
New
- Charmloop on Telegram is live! Connect your account and chat with your AI companion directly inside Telegram, on the go.
- My Bots page — create and manage your own Telegram companion bot with a simple guided setup wizard.
- Connect Telegram card added to your account settings, so linking your account takes just a click.
- Persona switcher — swap between different characters/personas mid-conversation, each with its own memory.
- Persona-selfie generation — ask your companion for a "photo of you" and get a personalized selfie-style image back.
- Fun group commands: try
/roast and /rizz for playful banter, /simp for a weekly leaderboard and crowning, and "Dress Me" — a group poll where everyone votes and we generate the winning look.
- GIF replies — your companion can now respond with relevant GIFs to keep conversations lively.
- Emoji & text reactions to shared photos and messages, making chats feel more alive.
- /help command and a handy command menu so you can discover everything your bot can do.
- @-mention support — your bot now recognizes when you tag it by name, including in Ukrainian phrasing like "згенеруй."
- Mini App entry point — jump straight into the Studio experience from inside Telegram.
- Full Telegram bot experience translated into 13 languages, including Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Turkish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, and French.
- New /telegram-bot page on our website introduces the feature with clear info and pricing.
Improvements
- Companion chat now runs on an upgraded, smarter AI engine for more natural, higher-quality conversations.
- Replies are now more context-aware, so your companion keeps track of ongoing conversation better instead of using generic canned responses.
- Reduced repetitive phrasing in roasts, rizz, and general chat — expect more variety in responses.
- Your companion now stays in-character better when you switch personas, avoiding mixed-up memories between characters.
- Bot avatars and profile photos update correctly when you switch personas.
- Group chats: your bot now only jumps in when properly addressed, cutting down on unwanted interruptions.
- Expanded customization options for companion personality and conversation style, giving you more control over your experience.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the "Dress Me" group poll sometimes never generated a winning image.
- Fixed a bug where the in-chat command menu (
/studio) could fail to respond.
- Fixed an issue where admin-configured bot settings could be accidentally overwritten when saving.
- Fixed cases where your companion would deflect requests like "selfie" or "draw" instead of generating them.
- Fixed a vision/photo-recognition issue that sometimes caused generic, unhelpful reactions to shared images.
- Fixed account deletion so that any Telegram bots linked to your account are properly cleaned up and included in your data export.
- General stability and reliability improvements across chat, image generation, and group features.
That's a lot of new ground covered this week! We're really excited about bringing Charmloop into Telegram — go ahead and connect your account or spin up your own bot to see it in action. As always, thanks for being part of Charmloop and helping us shape what comes next!
